As a child, my parents told me I could be anything I wanted to be when I grew up.

I wanted to be a firetruck.

My teachers had trouble convincing me otherwise.

I spent my professional career in technology consulting, developing the ability to speak both technical and business languages and finding my strength in liaising between disparate functional groups. As a visual analytics professional, I refined the development of insightful, data-driven, action-oriented, illustrative creations and led numerous digital transformation projects in cross-functional areas across a breath of industries over my near-decade long stint in the industry.

Look, that’s great and all Jay, but this site has literally nothing to do with any of that.

You’re right, and that’s exactly why I created it.

My parents were right.  You can be anything you want be.

So I’m a travel photographer. I specialize in resort lifestyle and experience photography as well as aerial hotel and landscape videography.  Having shot for nearly twice as long as my consulting career, I have grown the ability to truly capture the majesty of a property, its guests, atmosphere, and environment in my work.  Managing to do so in 40 countries to date, I’m on a plane more often than not – finding my happy place, disconnected, editing footage at 36,000 feet en route to the next exotic destination.

I want to share this all with you.

So let’s go somewhere new, eat something unique, speak in languages we don’t know, and make friends anywhere we can.

And maybe take a few pictures along the way.
